Services & Fees
Your first meeting with Dr. Doherty would be an intake session which is typically 45-60 minutes in duration. Dr. Doherty may recommend that you meet with her on a regular basis for therapy, and ongoing therapy sessions are 45 minutes long.
Therapy sessions with Dr. Doherty may be paid for on a weekly or monthly basis. Dr. Doherty's fee is reimbursable by most insurance companies as an out-of-network benefit.
Please note that Dr. Doherty does not offer mandated or court-ordered treatment, nor treatment for substance abuse or substance dependency.
Dr. Doherty enjoys providing therapy services to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing careers in psychology, social work, or counseling, and a modified fee based on a sliding scale is offered to such students.
